MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical System) Microphone is a microphone based on MEMS technology. Simply speaking, a capacitor is integrated into a micro-silicon wafer. It can be manufactured by using surface-mount technology (SMT). It is able to withstand high reflow temperatures and is easy to integrate with the CMOS process and other audio circuits. It has improved noise cancellation performance and good RF and EMI suppression. CRY6151B Electroacoustic Analyzer supports digital (PDM/I2S) and analog microphone testing, including parameters such as sensitivity, phase, distortion, SNR, and max. SPL. It meets laboratory testing requirements in many aspects. It also supports multi-channel acquisition and analysis, which can be integrated with programming and testing to improve productivity.
MEMS Digital Microphone Test
- Connecting the MEMS under test to CRY573 Digital-Analogue Converter (DAC)
- CRY573 Digital-Analogue Converter (DAC)output is connected to CRY6151B LINE IN port
- CRY6151B outputs audio through the MOUTH1 port to make CRY602 Mouth Simulator sound
- MEMS microphone captures the sound
- Input into CRY6151B analyzer for analysis
MEMS Analog Microphone Test
- Connect the MEMS under test to CRY6151B DUT MIC power supply, LINE IN signal input interface
- CRY6151B outputs audio through the MOUTH1 port to make CRY602 Mouth Simulator sound
- MEMS microphone captures the sound
- Input into CRY6151B analyzer for analysis
